I am considering purchasing Steve’s ‘Buyer Beware’ resource to help increase my understand of what to look for in Real Estate. Can anyone tell me about this resource- is it outdated or can the concepts in it still be utilised??
Also, is there such a site on the internet or a search that can be run to find properties for sale that are currently tenanted??Cheers,
Matt.
Hi Matt,
I purchased this resource last week. It’s great and well worth the money! It is not outdated. It contains templates for assessing property, tenants, etc…

OziHi Carly.matt,
I would agree with Ozi on this one! It is a great tool and once you use it, you wil modify it to suit yourself, as I did. It is great for getting started and, if you find nothing to customise, then I can’t see why it wouldn’t be a great long term tool!
It has helped me interrogate the REAs and weed out a lot of the ‘Bull’, and it does help give you a more ‘Respectable’ image! Initially, because of my serious lack of knowledge, I used to get pushed around, but didn’t know how to overcome that in a win for me. Once I got the templates, I wouldn’t let the REA dictate how fast I would inspect a home and what info I would get. So for me, it was well worth the money and now I get to see the houses I want in the time frame I want and I take away the info that helps me make better decisions (hopefully). As for searches, there are a number of larger national REA sites, one of which is: http://www.realestete.com, http://www.landsearcher.com.au and http://www.homesearcher.com.au
just to mention a few.Cheers

http://www.homesearcher.com.au/ is all WA homes BTW.
