Let me just say from the start that I am greatful for your contributions to the forum, it has been interesting, intertaining and importantly, most informative.
Now me, I am new to this game and I feel I am ready to really sink my teeth into it. I currently reside in Adelaide, Ferryden Park, to be precise for those who know, with my spouse. Combined income of $60,000+ pa currently paying off house we built & live in on a LOC, min paymetns would be about $650/fn. Have equity of $60,000 in house. Looking to buy 1st IP.
The way I would like to invest would be to have a residual income, building that up until I would be free from current job, ie approx $800 p/w, any CG would be bonus. Any suggestions would be helpful on where to start. Also I am a little time poor [dazed] so any bird dogs willing to direct me to some positive properties, preferably in SA, for a reasonable fee, let me know.
