I’ve been told I can get a refund on some LMI that I paid last year in a deal.
I’ve recently refinanced and now have an LVR of less than 80% therefore I don’t need LMI [biggrin]
How do I go about organising the refund???

Write to your lender requesting it.
Explain the reasons why.

depending on the time line (you purchased last year) you may be able to recover some of the cost – from memory the amount recoverable is subject to time and to the MI’s policy.
there are some posts on this forum which may assist and a quick search might be in order.

I contacted the bank and I should get my refund in about 3-4 weeks.
It isn’t a lot, $295, but I’m very happy to be getting anything back at all + every little bit helps [biggrin]
