Hi all,
If you want to buy a block, knock down the existing dwelling and then build a new house, what do you pay stamp duty on? (in Victoria) The block only?

I beleive it would be the transfer price. So what ever you pay for it.

The purchase price, regardless of what is on the block, be it vacant or with a dwelling on it.
You pay for what you get!!!
