    I’m looking to purchase my first IP, and I’ve heard that you can claim a percentage of an IP’s construction costs as a tax deduction.

    Based on this, I’ve asked real estate agent’s about the construction costs of an IP I’ve looked at and they tell me they can’t get that information.

    Is there another of accessing the construction costs of an IP?

    Comission a Quantity Surveyor to do a report for you.
