Hi Everyone; im considering putting my toe into the property investing waters thru a JV in the form of a subdivision of a suburban backyard. This way i can gain knolwedge and confidence.

The first concern I have is how do I stop my JV partner from ripping me off? Trust is something that is built up not given.

Does anyone have or know what a garden variety JV agreement/template looks like, Can anyone give me some ideas on this please. – thank you in advance.

I;ve never done a JV, but I would think that a solitor would be the best person to advise you and draw up an agreement and put property into the correct names etc.

    Hope this helps
