I have found my dream property but I can’t buy it yet because I’m still building my last house. Can I put in an offer but have a 12month settlement period?
Thanks
You can always try…
Why should the vendor accept the offer though?
You have to think about how you can make your offer attractive to them….how soon do they need the money???
Do some research

I think you might gain more success using an option strategy. Can work in a down market i.e agreed price now to pay in future.
hi Phil – bit unlikely but if you don’t ask the answer is no.
any specific reason why the vendor will take it off the market for 12 months? has it been for sale for ever or something?
cheers

wow … You are still building your home and you found another dream home ?!
Reminds me so much of my wife when we were building our current home and she saw another house that she wanted more !
Thankfully, I managed to keep that one a dream. [biggrin]
my dream ain’t a 4×2 dog kennel with my neighboures bed closer to me than the street!!!
