Have just returned from a holiday in Vanuatu. Has anyone got any experience in investing in the region?
Nope, and although it is a beautiful place, I prefer the Cook Islands (especially Rarotonga). Enquired about the prospect of investing there, but no luck, I believe you have to be a native/islander to qualify. It could be the same for Vanuatu….but I’d be interested to know if it’s not….I’LL BE IN THAT!!!!

I’ve got an option on a vacant block of waterfront land in Port Villa, kken to find a JV partner though. I think we should talk!
I would be interested to know how you get on in Vanuatu.
It is a place I have considered but haven’t had time to research.

I’ll let you know. I’m currently researching the area. Very nice place, only problem is the majority of income is tourist driven. I’ve got finace, accountant and legals however am still a little sceptical. Amazing returns in excess of 15% are quite common.

[email protected]I was there 2 weeks ago as a tourist from a cruise and I agree that some of the buildings I would not go into as I think they where a bit shoddy.
So others where quite good and some of the bars where nice places to drink!
