There have been some complaints that personal comments and offending posts have been stuck in locked posts and therefore the authors can’t edit these posts. Plus some comments have been made that the deletion of offending posts has not been even handed (e.g. suggesting moderators prefer to delete some peoples posts before others).
Therefore, from now on if anyone posts a personal offending comment (or anything else that is against the forum rules) then I will delete the whole thread (instead of locking it).
Some threads contain a lot of very useful information and it would be terrible to see this information lost just because of a few silly immature comments. So please think twice before posting publicly (just keep all posts to facts only). If you must make a personal comment then please PM the person.
I hope we can all get back to discussing finance…

If people can’t post something that is going to actually “benefit” someone, then in the interests of all others reading the forum, then don’t post.
If you do get offended by someone, then try to rise above it, and ignore it.
