I`m still attempting to get started in property investing….it`s a long story, but,in the midst(end?)of a property boom,at least Brisbane/Gold Coast….I`m still trying to get a house to renovate(that`s the line of business I`m in!!..Talk about frustrating)So I`m looking for a way to buy a house at a rock-bottom price,renovate/improve it,and move it for a decent profit….so,I`ve been seeking help in finding foreclosures,or tax lien properties,so far, without any success…it`s so available(the information, and the properties) in the USA,but here,it`s like it`s like a big secret..(the big players hiding it from everybody else)..Or,is there anyone here who has “the inside story”?….James,at the Gold Coast…can I include my phone?? 0414-777034…I`m open to any kind of joint venture…I`ve just completed 2 large Renovation/Improvement Projects, which are my forte….each project took 4 months, but both clients are estatic upon completion….so,I`m just making the point, that this is where I`m at,and I`m seeking some help to do something profitable…Thanks for your interest

I’m afraid that the tax lien properties are an American ideal. I have however seen a council sell off some properties for unpaid rates, which I guess is similar. However, there were only about 4, and at least one of them was paid up before the auction.

I think you need to get in contact with Real Estate agents, and maybe some bank managers etc. to see if they know of any clients that may wish to sell quickly for a drop in price etc. Other than that, it’s going to be all research for you.

    Cheers

We don’t have foreclosures or tax liens, as melbear said American idea. That said you can still pick up good property by keeping your ear to the ground.

Jambro, any of these properties that are for sale for unpaid rates or are mortgageee sales, have to be sold for market value or as close as they can get to it anyway. It’s not like they will sell it for whatever is owed on the property these days.
