It is illegal in SA to wrap property.
Does anyone know the implications of a SA person wrapping property interstate? I would like to give it a go but don’t want to do anything illegal.

Yes Mamakat I believe it is illegal to wrap in S.A. I looked into it briefly, don`t know the history of it, but lease options are the only thing close in S.A. I don`t pretend to know much about these either, may be worth some investigation.

    Regards Terry

    mamakat,

The legislation is about vendor financing property in the state, not about wrappers who happen to live in SA but wrap elsewhere.

South Australians should not have any issues wrapping in other states.

Yes it is illegal (well the government is allowed to do it, but everyone else – nada).

To circumvent this SA investors use LO. Or do wraps in other states, the only other state like SA (in terms of not making it easy) is WA, but there all you have to get is a credit license (and pay a small fee).

    Rgds.
