    Hi,

I’m looking to move to Western Australia and buy a house when I arrive. I’ve been doing some research, but can’t find any information about the associated costs, ie, stamp duty etc.

Can someone please help me out with a link to, or some information about how much stamp duty and other expenses I would be up for when buying a house there?

    Cheers

    Hi

Derek’s link will give you precise figures but for a quick estimate when out on the road I use a figure of 5% of purchase price.
