Do I need a credit providers licence or some such thing to do wrapps?
No you don’t, but you do need a good understanding of your responsibility in a wrap.

Hi Rakky
The only State that requires you have a Credit Providers Licence if you are carrying on the business of wrapping is W.A.
But, as always, check this with your own lawyer.

Hi Rakky,
It’s always best to stay on the ‘friendly’ side of the law. If the ship hits the fan, you want to be able to show people you did the right thing.
Go get some legal advice on this in your state. Your rights, obligations and how you should act under ‘best practice’ changes from state-to-state.

Hi Rakky!
Noticed you were from Vic so I’ll suggest you go to http://www.bla.vic.gov.au and click on “credit provider”
Some would argue whether you need to register – but like Brent says play it safe and you can’t go wrong.
Cheers,
Greg.
