Oh Mini! You must come! What do you love more? Property? Or this person?? (Now, think about this a bit before you answer… take your time- hhee…
I actually don’t have a mobile phone :o((( I am a bit retro that way, but all these people have given me THEIR mobile phone numbers, and I’m wondering what to do with them- was thinking of selling the numbers to a marketing company- hehee. I’m responsible like that! [biggrin]
Do bring your love along, Mini- we can all make something of a day of it, and I need people to explain all the hard stuff to me :o)
Would you like to give me your mobile in PM and I’ll make sure you are contacted, Mini.

My Love of Life is priceless.
I guess, the properties and my other streams of income are just streams of ‘portable energy’ which can be converted to experiences which give you the ‘intangible’s’ of life, such as happy times, incredible experiences, harmonious surroundings, creative possibilities, ‘quality nourishment’ in every meaning of the term, feelings of security, feelings of abundance, feelings of satisfaction, feelings of freedom.

I was there on Friday too, enjoyed the talk by John Edwards (and got to meet him!!).
The rest of the stalls selling units etc were a waste of time IMHO.
Probably a waste of time unless one was into buying OTP’s. Always good to get an idea of what’s happening with prices though, I think.
It does say though, that there’ll also be info on the following: private housing, residential development, commercial office, industrial, land and rural development, country properties, hobby and commercial farms, retirement, holiday homes, coastal developments, community developments, resort investment, golf clubs and retirement villages, retail and shopping centre developments. Plus mortgage and investment loan originators, conveyancers, financial planners, advocates and advisors, agents, developers, land sellers and property marketing companies will all be present at the 3 day show.
Thanks for the reportback, Perky :o)
Plans for Sunday. The thing starts at 10am so I’m thinking we might be able to meet up at 10.15 at the Sydney Morning Herald stand. That’s M23 on the floorplan, and it’s not far from the entrance :o)
For those who have given me your mobiles and a times you can meet up, I can call you and find you at the times you’re able to make it :o)
A final reminder for the night owls on here, about the Sydney Property Expo on tomorrow!!
We’ll be meeting up at 10.15am at the SMH Stand (M23). The Epo is on at Darling Harbour. All are welcome to spend some time with some forum members and get to put a face to a name. [lmao]
I was there today. Have to say I dont get that excited. Spoke with Margert Lomas for a few mins when she was on her own, stood next to Bruce Beres…whats his name, yummmm….errrrr sorry.
Turned down the bags, saw lots of young people, dressed all ways, sorry sis not all in business suits.
Had a few laughs, said lots of no thankyous and have sore feet. I looked around the seminar room, thinking is that one or that one? LOL
no hope.

so sorry I didn’t make it today. I hung out with my family, who I have only seen 2 days in the last 27, which was fabulous.!!
I hope everyone got to hang out and had lots of fun, got some free coffees, seminars, magazines, DVDs, entered a lot of competitions, and signed up for way too many mailing lists (if my experience last year is anything to go by!)
Thanks Mini- yes, I’m just home., have sore feet, but enjoyed the day a lot :o))
Met up with Melbear, sis, Rugby, TeacherK6, and Chan and Mrs Chan- all very nice people, as I knew they would be ;O) And they all looked just like I thought they would- just like their avatars- hehe.
I really enjoyed wandering around and seeing what properties were being sold, how much for, and checking out all the stalls.
In terms of free stuff… I got a stress golf ball (from a golf apartments place) a stress house, a copy of Your Mortgage Magazine, a copy of the Sun-Herald, a Jamie McIntyre video, a Real Estate Investors’ Network video, a cube game, a radio, a notepad, a faux-leather wallet [hmm] packets of boiled lollies, frogs, and mints, a box of humbugs, and some pens [laughing]
I also went to the Margaret Lomas seminar (the lady has 5 kids!!)
A good day had by me! Hope the others enjoyed it too :o))
So sorry we missed you all. We found the SMH stand about (all watches are confused today) 10:25 after a bit of a hold-up getting in, but didn’t recognise anyone so just kept wandering until we had to leave – just before Margaret Lomas started speaking. We’ve brought home lots of stuff, probably as much to do with share trading software and franchises than with property. In addition to all the free stuff I bought Margaret Lomas’ latest book and The Property Maintenance Handbook from Jerry Tyrrell. No time to invest: I’m too busy reading.
Did anyone count the number of canal developments in south east Queensland that were on display?
ghoti- next time, huh? I got there a tad late myself- about 10.30, I think, and sis, mel and rugby were there, and I was wearing my “oh my god- lollies galore!” look that i tend to get on such occasions. I think the fellas still meet up in sydney. I know ziz was keen to meet up too, and to discuss property with folks, but was unable to make it today.
I am sure the sydney IP people who regularly meet up will be doing so again soon- what say you, sis and Chan? (PG’s away, so won’t be able to share wisdom with us for a few months).
Thanks Mel, Kay, Chan (and Mrs Chan), SiS, TeacherK6, it was a good day.
Enjoyed meeting you all and Chan, how did you end up with such a nice wife? You obviously did a good con job on her to get her to marry you!!!!
The expo was all right once you got past the spruikers trying to sell you the next best OTP in sunny Queensland. There was some good info from some stalls.
[bawl] waaaaaaah! I missed people.
glad you had a good time. I did ask about the meetings in syd, guess ya gotta feel people are ok huh?
anyway, I told someone there were a few of those property developments, guess cycles happen all the time….
didnt anyone get the free hand massagers?
