All Topics / Opinionated! / Thanks Simon for the good deed
I appreciate what you are saying Simon but ……, how could I possibly take it any way other than personal ?
Your post really makes me question my reason for putting time into this forum and in a way I am grateful for that as sure as hell I can use my time in a better way.

You seem a fountain of good advice Simon so that is exactly what I will be doing.
No more exasperation reading posts from half brained idits, also known as do-gooders.
No more having to endure reading posts from one eyed Bush and Howard bashers, unaware and uncaring that a worldwide war is happening right on our doorstep.
What a relief.

No more exasperation reading posts from half brained idits,…I’m glad you’re talking to just the men on this forum, Pisces, lol hehehe.[whistle]
[party]Take it easy, Pisces. I had mine last week, so please don’t try to step into the same shoes as me. My shoes are much smaller than you…lol
Life is meant to be happy.
Simon just want the forum to be more property investing stuff that’s all, I think.
I know this is forum opinionated so I just like to give some thought, that’s all.
If I said something wrong above please don’t point the finger to me….lol…
Kind regards

[Retire Young, Retire Rich] [strum]I think sometimes it’s harder to convey what you really mean if people can’t see your facial expressions (the smilies might help a little though[biggrin]), and also no help from expression in our voice, so people can just take things the wrong way relying on text-only.
THings can come across differently than we intend, things can sound harsh while we don’t mean it or jokes can go wrong. All of the people on this forum I have found are lovely and I don’t think anyone purposely wants to hurt another person.
We all have different opinions and we should respect that, and try not to personally attack unnecessarily.
We all have problems in this life, we all had problems in the past, a bit of compassion for each other wouldn’t go astray.THat’s why I think we should, at least on this forum, try to make life easier for each other by helping others as much as we can.
I have seen this happen, so many lovely people here on this forum.
One argument should not be taken out of proportion, as Simon says sometimes you have to lighten up and try to return things to normal.
[strum]Hi,
As I said to someone late last week, if anyone has a problem with how a moderator has dealt with with an issue, e-mail or PM me directly. I will look into it, and deal with the problem as necessary.
I think that the bulk of the time the Moderators do an awesome job – particularly since they’re freely volunteering their time to help run the PropertyInvesting.com forums. But we’re all human, and sometimes intentions aren’t read well over the internet, so it’s easy to make mistakes.
But please don’t make posts which could be personally offensive to someone else. It’s easy to forget that behind the internet, there’s another person (just like you) reading what you have to say. If you’re unsure, just ask yourself “Would I say what I’m saying directly to this person in real life?”.
So again, to reiterate what I’ve just said, if you believe you’ve been unfairly dealt with on the forums, e-mail or PM me directly.
