My question is, what websites are people
using to find their investment properties ?
Which sites are the better sites to search
    on ?

I am currently using the following websites
    to search for potential investments:
    http://www.property.com.au
    http://www.realestate.com.au
    http://www.realcommercial.com.au
    http://www.realestateview.com.au

    brgorrie,

There is http://www.domain.com.au I use this and realestate.com.au. Ultimately its a personal preference, but r/e.com has I believe the biggest range of properties.

    Brgorrie,

I used those that you mentioned, but normally the best website is the direct website from real estate agents. Because there are a lot of property are not listed in the site you mentioned.

If you found the areas that you want to invest then find out how many real estate agents in the area and ask for there website. If they don’t have website then you can register with them to email or fax you the new listed property that match your criteria.

    Kind regards

    chan$,

I heartily agree with you on that one. Only a small
number of the available properties are actually on line.
you really have to be prepared to put in the legwork
once you’ve identified an area to locate properties through
directly contacting agents in the area.

Also I’ve noticed some rural areas you can’t find anywhere
on line, but they do actually have properties for sale. So
I guess if I relied only on online searching to find
properties it would be a really hit and miss affair.

heh … I’m happy I got two responses to my question,
thankyou for your feedback guys :-)

    cheers,

    Brian.
