Okay, gotta keep two going at once…
A man died with a hole in his suit. There was is no visible blood. How did he die?
(Several possible solutions)
Have fun,

Was the suit to protect him from biological warfare?
Correct! That has to be a valid answer, and was in fact the variation that I was thinking of when i mentioned that there were a number of solutions.
The original has the dead person as an astronaut!
Well done though!

Okay, here’s the last one for today unless more are requested.
A man is hiking in the hills for the first time and, for safety, he brings along two guides. At the beginning of the hike, the first guide says, “Keep all personal items close, stay behind me, and above all else, keep your balance around the steep dropoffs!” The second guide has never been on such a long hike and, despite the warnings, tumbles off one of the high cliffs and rolls into a valley. The second guides’ spine is broken in the fall. The man and the first guide watch the fall, shrug, and move on. Why do they offer no help or concern?
Good luck with this one! [^]

That was my first thought but it didn’t seem very likely
The one with the planes: I can only guess that they’d take the same amount of time but that’s too obvious. What am I missing?
[:p] If i told you what you were missing then it wouldnt be much of a riddle now would it judi?? They don’t arrive at the same time though.
Have a go at the most recent one!
Steve.“Knowledge is Power”
The second guide is a guidebook
Did plane A move?
Plane A will take longer cos if they travel home at the same speed, plane B will go faster with it’s tailwind.
Presumably they both leave Sydney at the same time.Agree with the guidebook!
Cheers
MelGuidebook one…Correct![^] Well done!!!
Here’s the answer for the second one:
Plane B will take longer. The headwind decreases Plane B’s speed over the ground the same amount as the tailwind increases it. However, the headwind is acting on the airplane for a longer period of time, consequently slowing the plane down longer than the period it was sped up for.
Anyone who wants more just has to let me know!
Steve.“Knowledge is Power”
Additional consideration:
As Plane B is in the air for longer and working harder against the wind, it will burn more fuel.
On the return journey, the lighter fuel load combined with the tail wind should see Plane B catch up with plane A.
Return journey times end up the same (?)
More please Steve!
Cheers
MelSteve,
where are you? more riddle please!
Kind regards

Okay,
I’ll give you one… But only because you won’t need to ask me the answer (too easy) [biggrin]
“I weaken all men for hours each day. I show you strange visions while you are away. I take you by night, by day take you back, none suffer to have me, but do from my lack. What am I?
Good luck as always!
Steve.“Knowledge is Power”
oh alright…
last one.
A young peasant wanted to marry the king’s daughter. The king didn’t like the idea of his daughter marrying a peasant, but he wanted to appear fair in front of his subjects. The king said that he would put two pieces of paper into a hat, one reading EXILE and the other reading MARRIAGE. Later that day, the peasant overheard the king saying that both pieces of paper would read EXILE, thus ensuring that the peasant would be out of his way for good. The peasant remained undaunted and, as arranged, arrived at the king’s court where a large crowd gathered for the big event. The peasant then did something that assured him the hand of the king’s daughter. What did he do?
