You are so right, cos there is absolutely no crime in VIC. No gangs or underworld hits or anything.[:D]

But Adelaide, oh poor Adelaide. Where do we start![:p]

So for 36k, plus body corp fees, rates, insurance etc etc, I can own my own PPOR? Frankly, the ONLY way I can do that, is by buying IP’s and using the extra income I earn to get my own home. I’ll need $800 a week (for all mentioned above…), so I can afford it in 25 years when IP’s are paid off…

Am I right in this? Anyone wanna tell me how I can afford my own PPOR? [:(]

Lisa, keep your mouth shut about Newcastle, we don’t want the word to get how great it is up here and get invaded.

Hrmm… Melbourne has been voted the “most liveable city in the world”, so it must have something going for it :)

Sydney is like the good looking skinny blonde. Looks good but is an air head.

Melbourne is more like a good looking brunette who is slightly plumpish. You know a Megan Gale. But she’s got personality, charm and life.

Who would you rather spend all day with. Not just a couple of hours in bed.

    Hi folks

I grew up on the central coast N.S.W and moved to Sydney for many years. I have now lived in Queensland for many years and there I little reason I would return. we could only afford a non location, location resident, if not renting, too far from any where. Here we live in a relatively new estate surrounded by rural areas, within 40mins you have all the shopping, beaches, childcare and education centres you could want. All fully accessible by public transport 4bdr, 2 bath, 2 car 600 – 1200smt $225,000 lake views from c$400,000 rentals from $250/week unfortunately donot fit 20 sec solution – but for cost and lifestyle it sure beats Sydney

    Hi All,

I don’t know how anyone can afford to live in Sydney…or would want to. Was there yesterday with my children and the smog was terrible!!! Also the traffic…bad news baby. I live in the Blue Mountains about 2 hours from Sydney and it is great!!! Much rather a moutain view than a smog filled city skyline.

    Sorry Sydneysiders,

    Rachel.

    Cheers,
    sis

People 4get that by saving just $3 a day & investing it sensibly
over a working life, you’ll end up with around $1 million

I live in Sydney and love it.
