    hi all

i read in the paper a few months back that 1 million asutralians planned to buy property in 2004, now interest rates are up and sentiment may have changed ?
i am interested in who expects to buy properties in the next 12 months and how many ?

i’ll start, yes i will keep buying, i think i’ll look for undervalued properties that i can fix up (probably pay someone to do) and be sitting on a handy profit. I am not sure how many i’ll buy maybe 5 or so. i think i might even sell one or two in OZ and perhaps one or two in NZ to help finance the new additions.

    regards westan

I find +ve cashflow deals in New Zealand which I sell to other investors. To be on my database send an e-mail to [email protected]

I almost certainly will be buying one, but have my sights set on two.

Depends upon opportunities, but I am interested, even as a ‘new starter’ [;)]

    Hi,

I am still learning about PI, but would love to buy my first positive geared property in the next 12 months.

I have been out of work for 4 months, so when I start work, check out loans then I will be looking around for good deals.

Hopefully I will make a good choice.

    Hi Westan
I’ll be buying at least 4. I settle on the current one in two weeks and will be ready for the next towards the end of April.

We’ll definately be buying at least one more this year, however this will be a very busy year for us, as we’ve now got an 8 week old baby[:p], and we will be concentrating on running and developing our businesses.

But one more for sure. Don’t know where yet. Depends how much we decide to spend.

    Cheers,

Just finished cooling off on first purchase for the year and have several more in sight. Set my target of 5 this year and hopefully will pass this if the bank has faith. Looking for the illusive cf+ with no vacancy problems and may have found a patch. Close to Sydney CBD. lol.

    Cheers to all. Happy hunting.

I’m looking for 4 this year, though if the numbers work out I may go for 6.
