    Hey all [:D]

After peoples comments on books, i though i may add my 2.2 cents worth…

I use a GREAT book to look up info on almost EVERY town in Australia. It’s called The “Essential Touring Atlas” and is produced by Gregorys. It covers ALL of Aus, and is broken down state by state. Its over an inch thick in the old scale, has 520 pages, maps, local contact numbers for 99% of the towns listed. It even has web sites. The info about each town is very precise, population, main industries, history, and attractions. The info usually covers 300-400 words per town as a minimum, even if a town only has a pop of 150 people its listed.

Look it up, flick through it, its well worth the money!!

    Thanks for the info.

I’ve noticed that the publication date is 2002. Do you find that most of the info is still relevant?

    Thanks,
    Shushar

    Hey Shushar…

2002??? geeze how time flies, it seems like i just picked it up a few months ago…

The info would be relevant, and perhaps more so as the years stack on, because you could compare info from “then” with up to date info… and see if the place is growing or shrinking…

    cya :)
