    Hi All,
Dont know if this is OK to post, but I recently came into possession of a house for removal from a site. Unfortunately, I cant run with this opportunity at present. Would anyone else like to do this. I’d rather it go to one of the team than an outsider.
The framing is sound and straight, roof has just surface rust. Its a two bedroom, needs a little work, but not an expensive exercise. Would make a great rental at about $110.00 pw. Situated presently on the far south coast.

    South coast of NSW ?

careful, the longer the distance the more it cost to move and the more risk one runs that the house may collapse during transport.

    Before buying

    1. get a housemover to give you a quote,

    2. consult council to check whether they are O.K. with it (they possibly may want to inspect the house beforehand before they will say ‘Yes”)

    3. make sure thew house is reasonably young.
(Not much point in spending up to $ 30 K to move an old house).

If one wants such a deal they do regularly pop up though not every day so one may need patience.

    Cheers,

    Pisces

    hi all

it has been difficult in the past to get finance for relocating houses the banks don’t want to give you money for a house while its on a truck (that wjhat it was like years ago when i did it), maybe some of the mortgage brokers might like to add some authority to my comment.
