I’m thinking about selling my house privatly, what do I need to do?

There are several packages that you can purchase nowadays with all the paperwork including signs/pamphlets etc to sell your own home. I think they cost $1000-$2000 (dont quote me on this!).

I sold my house last weekend thru http://www.housemart.com.au Cost $550 and they supplied all the paperwork, signs etc. If you go to their site, then WA, then Mandurah Marina you will see my little terracotta coloured townhouse. Probably saved myself around $18,000 in commission. Was also a bit of fun to say that “I did it myself.” Housemart are mainly operating from the Rockingham WA region at present. They apparently can cover anywhere in Oz tho.
