If you lack the time to find your own deals, perhaps they’re okay… if you have the time to find your own deals, save yourself the finder’s fee.

    Wayne,

I’ve looked at the deals, and, to be honest I don’t feel that the deals are all that great….

You really need to get out there and do the legwork yourself if you can…. If not… then, maybe they will suit you…

Do your homework on the areas listed….. just how much under market is the property ? did u factor in their finder’s fee into your calcs….

Not saying stay away, as I have no dealings with them. Just saying. Be Careful, and DO YOUR HOMEWORK………………

    Cheers

    Dear Wayne

Mr Pelican is right. But I’ll be more forthRIGHT – stay right away from this mob.

And, yes, I have looked at several of their so-called “great deals”. Had some agents check them out for me. Wasn’t sure which was worse – the deals themselves or the laughter from the agents at what they were claiming.

There are enough people ready to rip you off in property deals without having to pay a finders’ fee on top of it. One agent called it a suckers’ fee.

I did not get sucked and hope you don’t either.

Be careful in 04, it’s the year to ask what 4.

    Cheers

    Bec and Scott,
thanks for the info, much appreciated. Bec noticed you are from the UK, I am also living overseas (East Timor) how do you source your properties, obviously through the web, but do you rely on particular agents, through networking, or what other means? I don’t have the ability to physically attend and look at property. I know lots of people dont either i am just a bit reluctant. Any tips.

    Cheers

I’ve been to a couple of their seminars, and lets just say I haven’t been thoroughly impressed, nor have I bought any property through them. If you like lots of ra ra ra and have some money to burn you might enjoy their seminars. As for the deals, they certainly claim to have organised a lot of purchases here in NZ so some people must like what they have to offer. Persoanlly I enjoy finding and negotiating my own deals thank you very much. No one has my interests at heart as much as me.
    Good luck, Julian.

So Bec, you’d rather believe Real Estate Agents? These are the guys that will be losing out from deals that Richmastery put together. And aren’t agents the most ethical group in the community? I rate them alongside Used Car Salesman!

What real experience have you actually had with this group? Seems to me like you might be from some competitor or something. All your negatives don’t seem to have any substance behind them.

Questioning or critiquing something doesn’t mean one works for a competitor, Colio… just like supporting something or someone, doesn’t mean one works for them.

    kay,

Yes true, agreed. Forgive me for that quip. I was a little frustrated by some of the things that were being said in the forums.

You sound a little one sided Colio – your only posts to this forum seem to only relate to richmastery. Can you not contribute other stuff too?

Are you not a property investor first and richmastery advocate second.

Firstly, you may want to read the Tell Tale forum as I have posted something there which had nothing to do with Richmastery.

Secondly, I decided to join this forum to support Richmastery because I have certainly gained a LOT from the group. What is wrong with me doing that? They were being trashed by lots of posters who seemed to be just as one sided & much of what they seemed to be writing didn’t seem to be based on real evidence, just their own thoughts or what they’d been told.

From my previous posts, I’ve got a lot from these guys & I like what they’ve done for me & many other members feel the same way. So just decided to post here to support them & put my 2 cents worth. Hope thats ok with you?
