How much does a conveyancer cost on average?
(For the Northern S.A area/s.
Would love your honest response!i used a conveyancer in darwin for my last IP, and to tell you the truth they were’nt any cheaper than a solicitor. she didnt even do that good a job, forgot to tell me a few things that i thought were important.
any one else’s thoughts?Hi,
We are able to organise conveyancing and solicitor doc sign-off for Brisbane clients for about $800 provided there’s nothing unusual involved, normal costs are around $950.
Shop around and ask your broker & R/E Agents of anyone they know offering discounts.

Hi Shaunwalker
We just dealt with one in Darwin and she was also hopeless probably the same lady
ErikaI would be wary of using a conveyancer rather than a solicitor as they are not fully trained in law and if anything is amiss, they may not notice, and therefore not warn you about it.

In qld I have an excellent solicitor who does my conveyancing for $375.00.
I am yet to find a satisfactory one in NSW, on average NSW is $700.00 – $1,000.00. I am trying a new one at moment and he seems amiable. You have to be able to communicate efficiently with same, and if you can’t do that … move on until you find one where your working relationship is great.
