If I was to inspect a property interstate prior to purchase, does the cost of flight etc count as a capital cost or a revenue cost? i.e. do I get to claim the cost this financial year or does it come off the purchase price for capital gains purposes when I sell?

I believe that it is a capital cost, unless you are ‘in the business’ of property investing.

    Cheers
