All Topics / General Property / Putting in an offer to buy
I would like to start buying property in Perth without useing real estate agents. Could anyone tell me where do I go to get standard “Offer to Purchase” forms from?
I think you can get them from Sands & McDougal. If you make an offer on a property that is contracted to an Agent the vendor will still be liable to pay commissiosn to the Agent as far as I am aware so you may not get a better price.
As far as I know, an exclusive listing means that the vendor is liable to pay the agent even if the agent is not the one who sells the property. So Judith is right, you may not get a better price. But for all other types of listings (ie other than exclusive), you may still get a better price.
