Hi
Is is just me or are most the pages on this website very slow in loading? Also some links when they are clicked never do actually take you anywhere. I have broadband internet and haven’t got any problems loading other pages, but it takes forever to navigate around these pages – especially the forums. Any ideas?

Phil, often I have the same problem. Also have broadband, so it’s not the connection. I think there is an upgrade coming soon to the forums, so hopefully problems will be fixed then.

What do you think now? Is there a dramatic increase in speed for you yet?
As I type this, the web-gurus upstairs are just finishing a major site performance upgrade.
This will mean that all faucets of the will work faster – particularly the forums.

I’ll be interested to see if it makes a difference, my work connection is straight into the internet (I work for a telco that does wholesale internet) and these pages are often slow and do “hang” a bit.

Brent, so far so good. Time will tell though. I for one believed the ‘we’ll be down for 24 hours’ when you locked us out at six, and just checked in as I had logged on on the off chance.
