Ok Pinky won the Rat debate, so next week, we are getting 3 Rats !! [
Rat 1: My youngest daughter wants a Rat, my eldest already has 2 mice. [
Rat 2: Pinkys Rat[:X] .. she already has a name for it, “dash”..”dasher”..i think? [
Rat 3: Artys Rat..[}
Im assuming.. “i know to assume.. makes an ass out of u and me…” that Rats will be female, its like im overrun with females…”in some places that would be a good thing!
I need suggestions for my Rats name ..

LOL! My nephew has called his rat “Ruthy”… Aparantly, I’m the only person who can get “Ruthy” to fall asleep on them. I just patted “Ruthy” on her tummy and she fell asleep paws up (and yes, she did wake up!!! LOL)
I know Stuart little is a mouse, but you could always call him Stuart Little 1, 2 (and I think they’re in the process of making number 3).
I think I’d stick to tradition and call the rats “Ben 1” “Ben 2” “Ben 3” respectively. That way they already have a song named for them [

I’m sorry, I don’t have a suggestion Arty, I’ve just finished naming my 6 girls.. I’m fresh out.
But I wanted to say that my heart leapt when I read “Dash”. I had an agouti boy, one of my first ratties, that I named Dash. He was a very special rat, and was even on the front of our local newspaper with me.
Yay for Dashes!

There was a pet expo on, and they took our photo to go with a small story about it.
The story was AWFUL, it sounded horribly sarcastic.. but at least the picture was nice. It took up half the front page.. people were recognising me in the street as “rat girl”.

What about “Race”? Then when you go to visit it you could say you were going to join/rejoin the rat Race! LOL [
Better still, when the visit is over you can honestly say you are leaving the rat Race behind!! [
Your cat must be very tolerant, or in need of counselling! [
