I see what you are saying but it’s just hard to change the way we think. We have always thought of buying in Sydney in high capital growth areas.
But what you are saying is totaly opposite to our thinking. It’s true what you say, +ve IP’s will help pay the bills. We need to change the way we look at investing and go for constant +ve cash flow IP’s.Matt[

Ive a confession to make. I do have one -ve geared property, the first IP we bought. But the others we have are all +ve cash flow. So it balances out. We now concentrate on +ve IP’s.
But we still like to go to those -ve gearing seminars just to see what they are saying, we always have a laugh. Last time I won the lucky door prise, a basket of goodies. Ha Ha. We were the ones givin the guy a hard time too.Andy[8D]

I have to agree with you. We are going to do the same thing next year. Sell our ppor and a -ve cashflow when the 12 months is up because it has actually got some capital gain. Never again with any -ve cashflow property. Hope it all works out for you guys and we might cross paths somewhere out bush in those buses.

hi everyone,speaking from experience I strongly beleive to rent and invest as this is the way we have done so for the last 2 yrs….i was able to purchase 7 properties in 18 months and all + cash flow…..country properties are the best thing since sliced bread…..good luck to all

Yes as you can see this idea has been going around in lots of investors minds. The hard part is finding the +ve IP’s.
Can’t waite to do that traveling around in a camper bus thing.
