I am buying a house with the furnitures like sofa etc with it. The price to buy it all is already fixed at 83000.

is it better to save on Stamp Duty now,(by putting the house component lower, and increasing the furniture price), this way pay more CGT later if i sell?

Whats the rate for CGT and Stamp Duty in VIctoria?
My tax rate is currently 33%.
    What about the SD%?

What has your accountant advised you?

Also check out the State Revenue Office of Victoria web site, it is very informative.
