What happens should I die before my wrapped client calls on an option to buy?
Phil
Hi Phil, I’m guessing that you would not be Lucky Phil any more!![]
Sorry couldn’t help that.
Good Q’s Any one know the answer?????????
Hee hee, Keggles, that’s a good one.
Not-so-lucky-phil, if you die that is, you should have a written a will stating what you want to happen to your assets. Now even though the property is wrapped, the property is still yours, so you would have to chose someone that would be willing to continue the contract after your last breaths.
It could be your partner, children, other family, but make sure they know the ins and outs of the wraps or give them the knowldge of someone to help them. That is the only thing I can think of so far. I don’t know if it is that correct, but it was seems like logic to me!
Steph.
