Hi all,
Great site and great info!![] My wife (of 8 days) !![:X]) is a nurse and I am an estimator for a building company.
We both have the same values and goals and plan to purchase sufficient IP’s over the next 5 yrs to enable us to semi retire and travel this great country. Have read Steves new book and many others on “the road to financial freedom” type books. (can thoroughly reccommend Robert Kyosaki’s books as well) There are so many good info books around but one thing is for sure – and they all state the same simlple rule to success-:
“YOU HAVE TO PUT ACTION TO THE THEORY” [}]
so lets all “DO IT” and one day we can all remind each other where we would have been if we didn’t “DO WHAT WE KNOW WE MUST TO SUCCEED”
Success to U all!! [8D]
Hi to everyone. My name is Dave and I am a career firefighter from NSW. Following years of beer drinking and chasing drunk chicks I have finally decided to hang up the drinking/bad dancing boots for a new part time lifestyle in property investing. I am super keen and very hopeful.
Iam in IT. Got into IP through Marriage. I owned a house, my wife a unit. We got married and bought a house for ouselves and started renting out our other properties.
Im a part time mum, part time dad, part time doctor, part time maths whiz, part time shrink, part time scientist, part time comedian, part time coach, part time mediator, part time art critic…..
I am an administration manager for the student association at a university.
I have been here for over 6 years and although I have had a couple of promotions over the years, I find it a bit boring. Same old, same old.
That’s why I love this forum and yes, I’m addicted!
Hi,
I’m a stay-at-home mum and do the bookwork for my husband. (Self-employed plumber)Contrary to popular belief, we are not making a fortune!
So now I am also a part-time property searcher, and I think I am becoming a little obsessed!
Lawry73, yeah its great that people with the knowledge is sharing their experiences with everyone, so we all have a chance to build our assests.
Have you noticed on the radio/tv all the new competitions “I’ll make 5 people property millionaires in 6 months..” sort of thing.. its becoming overwhelmed with making people rich on property.. which means it gets harder to find a bargain property… geez []
Regards,
Arty.

Housesitter…..I did a Certificate III in IT and now have a fine job. I definately would not be here now without that. I have since mentored a TAFE graduate who will soon be offered a full time job here.
If he/she really wants to do this good on em. Give them encouragement.
