There is a useful research tool on the Homepath.com.au website. It gives a whole pile of info on any postcode in Aus. Things like what people earn, types of families, types of qualifications people who live there have, ages, population numbers etc.
    Hope it helps!

    BTW
You need to register and login. Then go to Locality Information – Suburb Information.
    Enjoy

Are the information accurate and up-to-date?
Do you have to pay fees to obtain specific details as you would with Residex?

Reside produced a list a of postive cash flow postcodes for $220.
    U reckon it’s good?

Can’t vouch for the accuracy or up-to-dateness of this data but imagine that because Homepath are attached to CBA that the data is of a reasonable quality. Some of the data is free and some must be paid for (like the historical sales data).
Free data is probably worth as much as you pay for it?
