The Perth REIWA site has a 30 year house price chart at its site (see home page). Does anyone know where I can find similar charts for other capital cities please? They are either not on the institute sites, or very hard to find.
An interesting thing, is with the Perth chart, the surge up in 1989 looks similar to the current surge (2003) however, percentage wise, we are nowhere near the top of the curve (av. house price in Perth is currently around $210000, yet with the ‘curve’ from the last boom applied, it would get to as high as $310,000! So, maybe Perth hasnt surged as high as most think. Would love some comments.
