    Hi Everyone,

I’m looking at a piece of land which is well priced however it is next to a storm water collection site. Would this be a problem in the future? ie Do they tend to overflow / smell / attract insects?

Also there’s a septic tank underground which would need to be removed. Has anyone done this before and were there any problems?

    Thanks for all your help.

    Regards

    Hi,
I know that storm water is looked after by the local council, to get a true perspective, you might have to door knock to a few houses in the area and ask them the same questions, there not going to lie if there is a problem with the storm water.

    Good luck!!

    Thanks bjajcr,

I hadn’t thought of doorknocking the neighbours. That’s a good idea. So far we’ve spoken to a builder who reckons that there shouldn’t be any problem and an upside may be that we don’t have neighbours on one side. Anyway will have to find out a bit more first…
