    Hi All,

As Im flat out, and all my posts/reading are late as Im working hard at building my business, what do you all think about outsourcing the property search (to save your own time) to companies that are property investors..come ex real estate people..come legal people etc… that you hand a brief to, of the kind of investment you want, and they do the searching, inspections, etc and come back to you with recommended properties and take a commish? My accountant introduced me to such a firm, and they seem knowledgeable and more importantly honest. Anyone doen this?

    Thanks

    Helen

Thanks Mini Mogul I thought it was going to stay at zero replies then. Apart from Richmastery in NZ (think that was the name), what about here in Oz and does anyone have the name of someone they have USED and are HAPPY with and have used them ongoing?

    Real experiences appreciated.

Thanks again Mini mogul – I can sign off happy now [:D]

    Hi Helen

You might want to check out:

    Janet Spencer at http://www.buyersolutions.com.au/; and/or

    David McRae at http://www.david.mcrae.net/.

They are buyers agents that I would trust.

    Cheers

Stu, legend, thanks. I prefer referrals for everything. But the question is, have YOU used them, or a close friend? Did the numbers stack up?

    Thanks

    Hi Helen

Another idea which I have started on is speaking with friends, partners etc who I know have spare time and like using the internet. I have told them my goals on wealth creation and the types of properties I’m looking for. I have then offered to pay them a spotters fee for every property I purchase.

The way I see it, it is a win-win situation for everyone [:D]

That is what I do. I have an agent in Vic that sources property for me. He doesn’t have a web address tho. I better not give out his phone numbers on this forum without his permission. you can email me if you like and I will pass your details on.

    Hi Helen

No I haven’t used them – I prefer to do the work myself.

I have referred clients to them before and I know them reasonably well. When I started ProSolution I went around and spoke to about 10 buyers advocates – these were the best in my opinion (in terms of experience, qualifications, professionalism). My suggestion is look for someone that has valuation experience and they should be a registered Real Estate Agent (e.g. David McRae used to be a valuer).

    Cheers

Excellent, thank you everyone, I will act on this and let you know the $$ result, for a facts and figures feedback post on what these services are like. Friends and family….hmmm. they are not so financially minded as Id like, perhaps, but I will keep that one circling around the brain and offer a spotters fee!

    Best Regards
