Does anyone know a good accounting company that specialises in property investment & taxation ? I was thinking H & R Block, but does anyone have any others in mind ?[?] They all seem very busy this time of year.

I’ll have to disagree with you there Pete. I use a melbourne Acct and I am in Brisbane. I use Dale Gatherum-Goss in Kilsyth. I also talked to another Melbourne accountant last week who also seemed very good. You really want one that will think outside the square.

Yes I live in Melbourne, but my investment properties are in Brisbane. I really want one who is property tax smart and savvy and cunning and creative etc… Don’t we all ! Probably one that is doing the investment property thing themselves.

Dale Gatherum-Goss is your man. He owns property and has heaps of knowledge about trusts, investing, tax etc. He’s located in Kilsyth, Melbourne.

I am booked to seem him in a few weeks time, at the recommendation from this forum, and he lives not far from me.
My current account I’ve now had a few years and he is ok, but slow and does not think outside the square.hmm he lives about 15K away from me, but i still will give hime a call.
