I have already got a few properties in both WA and QLD and although all have achieved big capital gains over the last 12-18 months they are basically negatively geared. I get depreciation and tax rebates which really soften the blow but I would like to get a couple of positively geared places to even things out a bit.
I live in WA and was hoping to buy here but as you’re all aware finding places which meet Steve’e criteria are tricky to say the least (if they weren’t everyone would be doing it). I think this has been mentioned before on the forum but is there anyone else out there who lives in WA who is interested in sharing info, contacts etc with the aim of us all ending up in 10 years time, lying on Scarboro beach counting our winnings ?
