should we take equity out on our original homeloan to purchase an investment property?

What is your goal and what are your desired outcomes ?
Have you done much reading/researching other property options ?
From the sounds of it you have great equity available and could use it well. There are no right answers only right options and you have to decide what your desired outcome is and work toward that goal. If buying another house and renting yours out gets you closer to our oal then excellent. If not then next option.Hope this helps.
