The PropertyInvesting.com Team and I want to apologise to anyone who has been having trouble accessing http://www.PropertyInvesting.com in the past 18 hours.
If you have been trying to access PropertyInvesting.com between about 8:45pm last night (Monday December 9) and 3:30pm this afternoon (Tuesday December 10), no doubt you have been having trouble getting here.
Over 600,000 web-sites (including PropertyInvesting.com), were all relying on one computer in the USA. To put it simply, this computer acts like a yellow-pages of web-sites, telling your computer where it needs to look to find the information for particular web-pages.
When this ‘yellow-pages’ computer went down last night, any computer which tried to ‘look up’ http://www.propertyinvesting.com got lost along the way and was unable to show you the web-site.
Well, half of the PropertyInvesting.com crew was in here until late last night trying to fix the problem. Early this morning, they decided that it was best not to rely on this particular ‘yellow-pages’ computer, (or the company who owns the computer), and began ‘re-listing’ http://www.PropertyInvesting.com with a different yellow-pages computer.
Again, we’re all sorry if this has inconvenienced you in any way. I know how many forum regulars there are out there, and how many people there are who come here on a daily basis to read and learn from other people’s questions.
Although I’d like to be able to say it will never happen again, nobody could have predicted (or prevented) something like this happening. The best we can do is just be ready, and hope everything else keeps going to plan.

Phew !!! I tried so many times to access the site that I was getting worried Steve & Dave had made so much money from property investing that they had retired and shut down the site.
But then I also had trouble acessing some other sites – they also must have been among the 600,000. I concluded I had a problem with my computer and service provider.
