    Hi Richard

Wow 40 properties thats quite impressive.:)
I don’t mean to be skeptical, I believe that advice is best viewed from many angles and from many sources.
Christmas time will take a toll on our savings, we’ve also got to budget for fridge/drier etc.
We’ll be ready with minimum 5% just after Christmas.
Is it best to find the place before speaking with you or after?
Do we need to lock in a date?
I’m quite keen to talk with you as you’re wealth of property/finance knowledge is quite evident in all the replies to questions here.
I know this is our First property, but we figure it will only take us about 6 months max to have saved enough in the offset for another deposit.
Do you have many clients on this forum?

    Cheers

    Denis :)

Bump, this is an interesting read.
Funnily enough the principals can be applied to other industries.

    Howdy

    I love these forums :)
Thanks for the replies, I’ve heard great things about Richard(qlds007) on the forum and after talking to a houseless guy younger than me at mortgage choice, I think i’m fairly certain which broker to use.
My only question is how many houses do you have in your portfolio Richard :)
Sorry curiosity got the better of me.
Do brokers only look after finance or can they give Property location advice, i’m in two minds about locationsize.

    Thanks again

    Denis

    Hi Terry

Rambling is good, whats ramble to you is valuable information to me :)
So the best path for my first house would be IO with offset, allowing me to save for next house?
Only when I move from the house or buy a second house can I claim tax on the principal?

    Cheers

    Is this Service Free?
The ones on http://www.mycreditfile.com.au  and www.vedaadvantage.com look both like paid services.
Got halfway through the form on mycreditfle and it requested a credit card/bpay.
    I don't mean to sound cheap :)
    But mostly I am!

    Cheers

    Howdy.

Thanks to All who have posted :)
We're probably going to stick with the dragon for now, in 6 months things may have changed and we'll reasses.
Sofar my only issue is with st george and their offset accounts.
Can someone who has a st george with an offset clear this is.
Apparently they have a really weird way of doing their calculations that effect the ammount calculated monthly.
I'm keen to go with the advantage pack as there are a few savings ie credit card yearly/loan establishment fee.
Again thanks for all the help.

    Regards

    Denis.

P.s Richard did you get my email?

    Hi Richard

Are your services available as a broker for this sort of thing?

    Cheers

    Denis
