I just watched it.
Something doesn't seem right there. Having said that Cherie only manages the renovations so the workmanship was the tradies.
Yet as project manager she assumes overall responsibility.
There has to be a decent explanation and I certainly dont think its any indication of overall performance or character.
In any case im sure we'll never know for sure as this would be a case of theres 3 sides to a story.
The occupants version, cheries version and then the truth.
Personally I just see it as one of those jobs from hell you get from time to time, everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Also sounds like the pressures of a TV production may have forced hasty work not in the best interests of the owner.
WomeninPropMelb wrote:Maybe try ebay? Or other sites … Has Rick Otton got a site?Im not sure I follow,Im looking to swap material.
The other thing I probably didnt mention is my material are 3 courses, Intro, Intermediate and Advanced which really packs a punch by the time you understand the Advanced (master) material.
So im im just after bootcamp/massive passive material, so its not quite a fair trade as my material is way more indepth. Not to spruik Rick Otton or anything like that. His strategies and methods definitely work as numerous people on this forum can attest to.
Just be aware though as with most seminars it seems 80% of people do nothing with the information. 3 days of bootcamp wont prepare you for everything, but then no boot camp does as all the boot camp does is give you the tools. The 80% I guess dont have the drive and confidence to go with it.
So I suggest if you have the drive and desire then definitely give it a shot or find what it is that will give you the required specialised knowledge.Im getting back into property now but my specialty and passion are the global markets, ie trading and investing. In my experience it seems the 80/20 rule is a bit backwards here. Almost 100% start (due to the simplicity of starting to trade) but only 20% (if that) continue a few months in.
As someone mentioned, the bootcamp is only $3k but if you look on Ebay or Gumtree you might be able to find a promotional discount and get a few hundred off & at least that will help cover accomodation and air fares to the bootcamp.
Im bumping this thread.
Ive had offers to exchange for other material but yet to hear from anyone with Rick Otton material.
Anyone able to help with Bootcamp manual or Massive Passive pack?PM and Email sent.
Im not sure why my PM is blocked, i'll have to look into that.Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply. I am stuck as such in that getting started is a hurdle for me.
Im guessing people feel like I would be competition rather than assistance to them. Im not sure.
So I would like to be involved.Nice to hear and good work.
I too am now at Master level and I really like having so many different methods of doing things at my finger tips.I understand what you mean by the CFD's,
Ive been happy too with the option trades.Hi Humungus,
Hows things of late with the investing?
Ive been doing options also, ie Covered, Naked etc as well as some other strategies.Ive found it very reliable and I love how you can vary it to your risk appetite.
Definitely not a get quick rich scheme and its never been touted as that either. People just assume at times its a magic bullet.
Same as property, nothing in property is get rich quick and takes persistence and determination.Anyway im becoming rather confident and have been lucky to be involved in trading during the September Correction, all the issues since, the recent correction in May and the Euro crisis etc.
This volatility has been unprecendented and if you can keep your head up in these rough seas its sure to serve well in calmer times.Im now looking at expanding my knowledge by going into creative property transactions. Me and a colleague are just getting started out there.
Hi Ryan,
I live in Adelaide
ZacHi Ryan,
Im keen on the massive passive pack. Thanks so much for that, I'll most certainly give him a call.
CheersHi Sherry/Jason,
Thanks so much for your advice.
As for the presenter, ive actually got an audio of his complete 3 day bootcamp, so about 20 hours of audio going through all the strategies.
I was going to Buy & Hold property but negative gearing doesnt appeal to me.
The idea of being a go to or middle man and helping people engineer a solution appeals to me.
I understand the theory and systems do work but from a practical point of view even when ive done a bootcamp/course I still feel id need guidance in doing the practice. To begin with I think the joint ventures appeal to me the most as it seems the most logical to commence with. Further on the rent to buy or lease options come across as sound and in line with what I think I would be able to achieve.
Hi Thanks for all the feedback etc,
I understand about having a defined area to work with and a set level of skill sets and I understand the legal issues with paperwork.
I havent wanted to mention names as such incase its seen as spruiking or anything but im looking at doing the Rick Otton course, both HomeStudy and Bootcamp.Im not new to investing as such but new to Property.
Im heavily invested in the stock market at the moment and the main portion of that is Buy & Hold.So as for research and sticking to one strategy or a few strategys in line with one another, of everything ive heard thats positive cashflow, the strategies as promoted/taught/sold by Rick Otton most definitely appeal to me.
Wraps, Lease options, Rent to Buy etc
Im keen on doing a seminar which I will get to soon but not sure what after seminar support I can get.
Just wondered if there was a community of people that helped each other out to get the best and most out of people.
