Yes redwing- you have big ears… but based on the same premise, georgis smells, blackjack is a cow, Chan has a terrible case of helmet-head, melbear is a dog, and Rachel has big hair! And yes, I know, I am green.
Hrmm… “And YI is a cannibal or psycho murderer, or air conditioner(?), or… something.” [blink] d’oh! [hmm]

Russ,
Do you use a dial-up connection? As we know, these are a little slower than cable connections, and due to the “prettyness” of the site (more images and tools than most other forums), more data needs to be downloaded when viewing pages.
The functionality of the site could also affect the processing time of your computer (not just the speed…[Read more]

A topic-dedicated chat room sounds like a fantastic idea! Perhaps more often than once a month though. Or perhaps once per month for a topic like “interest rate predictions”, and more frequently for others?
Perhaps even have a list of topics somewhere on the site which people vote for. Whichever topic has the most votes for it, is given at chat…[Read more]

hi kay,
Bear in mind that if you use the FHOG, you won;t be able to claim the buying costs, loan costs, etc as a tax deduction.
What if the total of the buying costs, loan costs etc exceed $7000? Also, what might “etc” include?
Many thanks,

Howdy,
Could you theoretically then keep rolling over IO terms forever, even though the “real” value of the banks interest income is diminishing with inflation?
Thanks,
Steve.ps: Provided servicability is still there of course.

Yeh, that’s what i mean… [biggrin]
It comes down to both!
Its no use being best buddies with someone if they can’t come through for you because they dont know anyone. [comp]
It’s also no use knowing someone who has the final say for every loan in Australia if you don’t know them well enough for them to actually be bothered helping you…[Read more]

Marisa,
Search for yourself after clicking “members”, on the top left of your screen. Once you have found yourself, click on your name, and then when the next page loads, click the “Edit profile” button. Then scroll to the very bottom of that page and select your “avatar”
If that doesn’t work, just tell us how far you got before getting stuck!…[Read more]

misty,
With your “bookmark” idea, have you tried subscribing to any topics?
You do that by clicking on the little tan coloured envelope which has a green ‘+’ sign on it, at the top of a topic.
This will tell you when a new post is added to a particular topic.
Give it a try if you haven’t already!

misty,
I’m not “the” Steve, but I hope I can offer some assistance.
Try https://www.propertyinvesting.com/strategies and look specifically at the “low/no cash down” strategies at the bottom of the page!
Hope this helps,

Very interesting Matt,
Did you / Do you work for NAB?
Would “who” your banker is be more useful than the “relationship” you have with any banker?
I’m assuming the former…?
Thanks again,
