The best credit card is None at all.
That API is a great read…
Especially the snapshot on Lismore and Dubbo. But for the media, what is “Your” perception? The economy is not suffering, unemployment is comparatively low, interest rates are comparatively low. I think the Sydney market especially is driven to far greater extent by the media. Most of these dimwitted journos aren’t even in the market. It really annoys me to be honest.
Get a recognised local builder to have a look at it. Pick his brains and you should come up with a rough estimate. If you need a JV partner I may be able to assist you.
Hmmmmm. There are indeed a great deal of dodgy gurus out there. I really think in most cases its best to stick to the big names as they tend to actually back their seminars up with real life successes.

Glad to see you hitting this one depreciator
Tasmania defies all growth forecasts, seems the market there is thriving. I know I’ve sad this before, but Rosebery Tasmania provides some of the best value in this country. Rental returns are high. i.e My latest purchase there: $40,000 house, rental $130 per week. To me thats not a bad return. …

They are hard to find. An area with growth prospects though is Toowoomba. Population growth rates are high and a great deal of infrastructure.
Welcome aboard! a little advice, once a property hits the news paper its too late. The key to this game is to have your realtors call you before they list, knowing full well that you are ready and able to buy. Good luck!
Interesting to read that our dear friends over at BIS are so bullish on Darwin. I agree with them on this front, however disagree with their forecasts for Sydney. 1000 people come into Sydney every week, hence there will always be demand for property.
