From the outset when u have a property manager you should stipulate that they must contact you before any work is carried out.Mine for instance gives me a call before any work needs to be done and i always go and investigate it to see what actually has to be done.  Then i either fix it if i can or just tell the PM to organise to fix it if i havnt got time.

Monty,Just out of curiosity, are your loans interest only or P&I?Im doing a similar thing somewhere down on the Bass Coast in Vic with a couple of friends. i was speaking to a couple of estate agents yesterday and each one of them said that after the freeway is finished it could add up to 30 – 40 % to prices in frankston.  I personally dont think you can go wrong in frankston / frankston south.
