Yes, but not only delivered to his house; the protesters gifted him a brick at every public speaking engagement that he attended. It got stopped by using the anti-terrorism laws.[:)] I believe there are more than enough loose bricks left for his remaining time in office.[:O]

Sorry Blowie, me and my clear as mud comments!![:0)]

I was referring to your remark about renting. Why live in a place that may end up +ve CF, as well as not needing to pay the mortgage. This alone is better for your income, then combined with cheap rent and the feel good factor of helping out seems like the most obvious for a win-win…[Read more]

Not nessy-sarah-lee blowie! I’ve been considering this option myself. Although the place that I’m consdering renting is my sister’s IP. What is wrong with the old fashioned way of SAVING for a deposit and then seeing what you can get for your money???

I know it sounds harsh, but it seems like you are not ‘investing’ rather, you are ‘gambling’ with Capital Growth. If there is no growth…[Read more]

Maybe I am a bit naive – being new to this investing gig. I have found that networking and thus relationships with bankers, accountants, RE agents (and not forgetting tennants!!) are all a matter of personality and viewpoints. This is a fact of life no matter where you go.[:)]
