Hi All
I agree being held accountable for my goals and getting that little kick along when I need it will be great.
Also for me will be the networking as I am on this jounerny alone. My husband is not as keen.
So having others as interested as me will be fantastic.

Hi Steve and members
I was left speechless this morning after reading some of the posts.
I am still trying to work out how such a great and exciting opportunity has been torn apart and twisted in so many different directions.
I for one am greatful to Steve and his team for putting this programme together.
The mentoring programme sounds fantastic…[Read more]turboz replied to the topic Creating a ‘life of choice’ in the forum Heads Up! 19 years, 4 months ago
Hi JPMONTY
Firstly congradulations on realising we all have choices.
My light switch came on at one of Steve’s masterclass’s last December and I am still learning about the choices we have.
I resigned from my job 2 weeks later to follow my dreams of investing and to change my life.I was constantly complaining about how mundane life was and it…[Read more]turboz replied to the topic What type of vehicle do you have ?? in the forum No Subject 19 years, 4 months ago

Hi
Well I will be the odd one out here.I like nothing more than to put a movie, dvd or video on and get totally lost in it.Especially if I’m having a bad day.It really relaxes me.

Hi
You could fly over to NZ.Do research before you go and choose the towns that fit with your plans.I feel you need to have a good knowledge of the areas you are going to invest and also meet some RE agents so when you come home they will keep you informed of the new listings. Most of the good properties don’t make it to the net. Also if your…[Read more]turboz replied to the topic When are you planning to retire? in the forum General Property 19 years, 6 months ago

Hi Everyone

Hi jhopper
The property we have early access to is a desceased eastate. We could have asked for early settlment. With desceased eastates you need to make sure it has gone through probate court and this can take a while. You are right in saying by not settling early you are saving money if the vendor agrees to early access.I guess it depends on what…[Read more]turboz replied to the topic Renovating During Settlement in the forum Help Needed! 19 years, 6 months ago

Hi Chris
We are in the middle of this process and had the early access clause added in to the contract. We pick the key up from the RE each morning and return it in the afternoon. We found this to be a win win situation and the vendor was very happy to agree using this method. We are going the other way as our property is vacant(deseased eastate)and…[Read more]turboz replied to the topic Quick Flips and Capital Gains Tax in the forum General Property 19 years, 6 months ago

If you were going to buy properties not live in them do a reno and sell before the 12 month period.I realise there is no CG discount would you then have to register yourself as a bussiness and pay GST and of course tax if it’s your only source of income.I have just finished a reno on a unit we have had for 2 years and I have just purchased…[Read more]turboz replied to the topic McKnight buys 30 US homes for $1m in the forum General Property 19 years, 6 months ago
