    I have similair query in another thread, i.e. how do we as property investors can eliminate or reduce the risk of being sued because no insurance companies will cover asbestos claims, I did not have much responses. Just wondering if people put their head in the sand, keep the fingers crossed, wielding a bunch of garlic and hope the greedy lawyers will not come after them when tenant unforetunately acquire an asbestos related illness.

    thanks Marsden. I don’t know about other people, but I am not comfortable if there is a chance that I may be sued and lost everything I work hard for. Do most people have an attitude of ‘mate, she’ll be right ‘ ?

    I know Steve & Dave set this site up as a commercial venture and it certainly provides a forum for like minded people to exchange ideas. I set up my browser to display active topics directly and it is frustrating to see some interesting topics but unable to read the content. Also I think it may be better not to automatically add the advertising after each new topic.

    I have been looking into investing in the U.S. property market but decide not to go ahead with it ( I already booked the airfare to the U.S. !!). Foremost is I just can’t see myself put up with sitting in an economy seat for the 20+ hour journey, then as mentioned the complications of investing half the world away and the fact that the net income may be much less than what appears on the paper.

    I suugested previously that the suburb or city of the member should be displayed alongside the username in the reply.
