I was just wondering why Marc is even sprouting his comments on a PI forum if he doesnt believe in it?
Do you guys and gals wonder that too?

Hi Marc,
You say that values are planted in our subconscious by the environment.
To me values are what we are taught by our parents but also what we hold dear as human beings, ie some of our values are inherent and not given to us by anyone else – they are part of our spiritual makeup.
Society does not and never will determine MY value system

I agree with Kay, my interest in property will not affect my vote, however health and education policies will.

I would just like to say, as a baby [baby]investor, I would still be wondering how and what I would retire on,
if I did not have my rental management company, or read all those books (Steves, Kiyosakis)

Glad to hear you all are happy and wealthy, sounds to me like everyone is “closing the gate when the horse has bolted” in regards to niki’s problem, she should have had all this advice BEFORE she began investing!
I’m happy to have discovered people who are so knowledgeable about investing – (niki take note of all this and fix what you can!!) I will keep visiting this forum.
I am eager to hear how long each person has taken to achieve their current portfolios, so I have an idea of the time frame I can put on mine!

I am not frightened of investing in property far away from home- i see it as a challenge!
Provided you have someone to assist you who know s the area etc. or do your own research ( I’d prefer to pay someone I trust to do the legwork for me initially!) then it should not be a problem.
Make sure you learn as much as possible first, so youre sure of what youre doing though ( I am learning all the way!)

Hi Niki,
It seems to me you have learnt the VERY hard way!
Although I am newish(?) investor, I have become very well read in regards to investing in property, and nearly every strain had said – research is the key!
If and when I invest in property offshore or far away from home I have learnt (through experience as well as advice)
that you need a good rental manager, and always landlords insurance!I wish you well in your endeavours, perhaps you could get some more help from the forums, they are a veritable fountain of knowledge!
