The House is fully paid for. The guy who left it to my sister was a German who had worked for a Brazilian Airline and bought it when he retired. It cost him about US$100 000 about 7 yers ago.
Since then he improved it qiute a bit.

No, she has no relatives in Australia. Currently there is someone living in the house rent free. Friends of hers said, that she is lucky to have someone stay there, so the place is looked after and not vandalized.
